Brief description

The European University Cyprus (EUC) is a private university in Nicosia, Cyprus. The institution has a current enrolment of more than 7,500 students. EUC is part of Galileo Global Education, Europe’s largest higher education group with a network of 45 institutions present in over 80 campuses in 13 countries and over 120,000 enrolled students. The EUC has 2 main buildings and 2 residence halls which cover an area of 150,000m².

EUC campus is considered the first smart university campus in the island. In collaboration with CyRIC several sensors have been installed for indoor and outdoor environmental conditions: Sensors measuring CO2, VOC and PM2.5/10 levels for better control in case of abnormal conditions. The buildings have also devices installed in places of interest where users would give their feedback regarding the environmental conditions in order to prevent unpleasant situations and take precautionary measures where needed.
